Local Radio

Our local radio station, Radio Jackie, has its studios in Tolworth Broadway, conveniently opposite Marks & Spencer beneath Tolworth Tower (with one hour free parking). The visit includes a few freebies and plenty of stickers, then a brief history of Jackie. Moving into studio 2 we looked at all the buttons, switches and screens, made our own jingle and listened to it endlessly, and saw how far Jackie broadcasts reached (over a million adults).

We then moved into studio 1 to join the DJ on air for a while - we all had to be very quiet in here so we wouldn't interrupt the show.

About 45 minutes in all, and I know a Rainbow unit that's been, whilst Rangers would be very interested too. So suitable for all sections although numbers are limited due to the size of the studio.
