At Nower Wood they run activities for uniformed groups after school, on Saturdays and during school holidays.

The sessions involve 1½ hours of themed games and activities. You can choose from the following:-

  • Bat Evening - See and hear the bats in the wood.
  • Pond Dipping - Catch and study the many freshwater creatures in the ponds.
  • Orienteering Game - Use a compass and clues to find your way around the wood.
  • Woodland Explorer - A woodland walk discovering trees, with fun and games.
  • Mini beast hunt - Look for insects and other creepy-crawlies living in the wood.

They can tailor a session to meet badge requirements.
